dreamwall has a unique attitude to funders and commissioners. We actively seek to work alongside partners who are committed to our values and principles and who want to be fully involved in the joint planning, delivery and monitoring of our services.
We work differently.
Our aim is to become part of your team, improving and achieving together. Services are planned and delivered in consultation with all – including young people, parents and funders. It is only in this way that we genuinely believe a quality service can be provided for all.
Our services and ways of working integrate fully with the philosophy and aims of the Every Child Matters agenda. . .
- Staying Safe. Each young person referred to our service will receive continuity of care and a consistent staff team so that positive relationships may be developed and a commitment that the residential experience is not an isolated piece of work.
- Enjoying and Achieving. Twenty service users are now active volunteers as part of the Junior Leader Programme. All undergo a training weekend residential with access to accreditation.
- Making a positive contribution. The Junior Leaders have volunteered on a further 45 dreamwall events 2006/07. Providing a staggering 6,500 hours of voluntary service
- Economic wellbeing. Two Junior Leaders were successful in their application to become paid junior workers in 2007, working on weekends and school holidays, whilst at college.
- Being Healthy. All programmes provide an environment to experience new activities that build emotional and physical health and the resilience towards realising independent living.

Ensuring quality
All dreamwall policies, procedures and risk assessments meet the standards required by national and local agencies. We have a robust mechanism in place to challenge and ensure standards are maintained to the appropriate level.
