Natasha is a co-founder of dreamwall and was inspired to do so based on her extensive experience, both project management and policy, in working with vulnerable young people and victims of crime. Natasha started work within the third sector specialising in developing programmes for young women with offending behaviour. This was followed by a policy and management role within the field of vulnerable victims particularly those affected by domestic violence and racist crimes.
During this time she has also carried out research both on a national and European level. Natasha has a degree in Sport Science and is currently studying for a post graduate diploma in Psychology.
Kelly is a Programme Innovator and has been working with dreamwall since early 2005. Up until Dec 2007 Kelly was responsible for the running of ‘Inside Out’, a sports based activity programme working with young people during and after school, providing activity clubs, residential programmes and 1-to-1 support. She is now a key member of the residential team and spends most of her time outside the residential programmes working with our young people on a 1-to-1 basis and is keen to develop the services dreamwall provides for vulnerable young people.
Rachel is a Programme Facilitator and has been working full time for dreamwall since the beginning of 2006. Rachel is responsible for the organisation and logistics for residentials. She plays a key role in liaising with Commissioners, Parents and Carers. During a residential she offers support to her team and to the young people. She has experience in working with young people and volunteered on her school camps. Rachel is interested in Art and studied this as part of her A levels in College.
Sam is a Programme Assistant and new member of the dreamwall team recently joined in April 2008. He previously went to college and studied the First Diploma in Sport for 1 year, and then went on to do the National Diploma in Sport for 2 years. Whilst he was at college he volunteered with young people, assisting in the running of sport tournaments. His main interest is playing football where he played to a high standard when he was younger. He also enjoys participating in sport in general.
Afra is a Programme Assistant with dreamwall. She began her time with dreamwall in the summer of 2004 as a young person on a programme, and was selected as a Junior Leader on the first selection phase in 2005. She was a committed, enthusiastic and supportive member of the Junior Leader team, which lead to her becomming a paid member of staff in December 2006. 2 years on and Afra is considered a part of the core residential delivery team.
Afra is studying the CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education and is working hard to secure a place at university.
